Hey, I’m the one behind the camera—usually crouched in weird positions, covered in pet hair, and chasing the light like it owes me money.
This is the part where I'm supposed to tell you what photography means to me and how it all started when I was 8 dressing up my cat in doll's clothes, yellow pom pom wig up top, and going to town with my disposable camera like I had a deadline for National Geographic. That cat sure tolerated a lot from me. -RIP Oreo, you were the real VIP!- Animals have always been my favorite subject, my main muse.
You don't really need to know what got me here though, but rather where here is and are we a fit to work together.
I will photograph anything and anyone, any excuse to use my camera is a good excuse in my book. But....
I get along best with the laid back goofballs, the self proclaimed weirdos, the ones who are awkward in front of the camera. The ones who let their kids be themselves for the camera to see and embrace it rather than correct it with bribes or threats. The ones who would rather have fun and be real than stand in stiff perfection. These are the ones you can feel the love seeping through their photos, which if I'm being honest with myself is actually my favorite thing to photograph.
I'm a hopeless romantic, alright? Leave me alone. How can I not be when I'm engulfed in unfiltered love on a regular basis thanks to photography?
